What is a conveyor car wash?

A conveyor car wash (also known as a 'tunnel') works by loading vehicles onto a motorized chain that pulls them through the tunnel, where they are cleaned with a series of automated brushes, soaps and cleaning solutions, high-pressure washers, and finally high-speed blow dryers.

OSCW’s tunnel is 80-feet long and features soft-touch wash, foam bath, undercarriage wash, hot wax, polish, tire & wheel cleaner, rust inhibitor, and tire shine.

What types of vehicles can you wash?

We can wash most vehicles up to 7’-6” tall. For pickup trucks, we ask that you remove anything in the bed of the truck. When you come by, an attendant will greet you at the pay station and inspect your truck (checking for height clearance, any debris in the bed, and trailer hitch). We can retract certain brushes in the tunnel for any areas that may be on concern for you.

Should I stay in my vehicle?

Yes, all customers should shift their vehicle into ‘Neutral’ at the start of the tunnel and stay in their car for the duration of the wash.

Will you hand-dry my car?

The last step of the tunnel consists of high-power blow dryers which should dry the majority of moisture from your car exterior. If you would like to further dry your car, our attendants will help dry off the car as well, depending on traffic volume.

Can I take my vehicle through in any condition?

We highly recommend inspecting your car prior to arriving to OSCW and going through the tunnel to see if anything is loose (antenna, windshield wipers, license plate, etc) and could potentially come off of your vehicle while in the tunnel. OSCW is a safe car wash, using modern, well-maintained soft touch wash equipment. However, we cannot take responsibility for:

·         Loose chrome, moldings, antennas, mirrors, license plates/frames, trim parts
·         Non-factory-installed parts and accessories
·         Carrying racks
·         Decals, pinstriping
·         Convertible soft tops

Open pickup truck beds must be free of objects/debris and we are not responsible for snow/ice removal.

Do you clean the interior of my car?

The conveyor tunnel cleans only the exterior of the car and we do not offer detailing as a service. However, we offer free vacuums out front for customers to clean out the interiors of their own cars.

What type of payment do you accept?

At our pay stations and in our office, we accept cash and credit/debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.

What is an RFID tag?

RFID stands for ‘radio-frequency identification’ and refers to the barcode sticker we will apply to your windshield when you sign up for an Unlimited Monthly wash plan. When you approach the pay station, the RFID scanner will communicate with the tag and let the car through, at the same time signaling to the tunnel equipment the wash package associated with the membership.

Do you offer fleet washing?

Yes, we offer special pricing for commercial or fleet washing depending on quantity of vehicles and frequency of use. Please contact us via email or phone, or visit us on-site to discuss pricing options.

Are the vacuums free?

Yes - our facilities have both boom and post vacuums that are free for customers to use during OSCW business hours.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes, we are currently selling OSCW wash cards in our office/store. For every wash card purchased, you will also earn a bonus value - see more information about gift cards here.

Can I buy a wash plan for multiple cars?
